DTRAX
The DTRAX spinal system compromises a set of single-use access instruments and cervical cages. DTRAX is used to treat radiculopathy in the cervical spine from a posterior approach. Instruments and cages are designed to achieve indirect decompression and fusion via a minimally invasive approach.
How does DTRAX work?
DTRAX is inserted bilaterally through 1.0 cm working channels via a posterior approach. Fluoroscopic guidance assures a proper placement of the DTRAX cage in the facet joints. Once in place, DTRAX opens the foramen, unweights the nerve, and stabilizes the segment. Additional graft can be added to the cage to enhance the fusion.

Ideal indications
DTRAX is intended for patients with cervical radiculopathy and/or facet mediated neck pain.
Surgeons are using this technology in combination with ACDF and to do a 360° fusion. DTRAX is also used in combination with laminectomy or to do an indirect foraminal decompression and fusion.
